04 NIVEN’s raw material base

Every natural-stone project begins with understanding its origin.

Novoselivskegranitedeposit

The Novoselivske Granite Deposit is NIVEN’s principal raw material base. Its primary mineral is granite suitable for block extraction. This quality defines the company’s specialisation and the commercial potential of Novoselivske stone for professional processing, architecture, construction and landscaping.

02 Geological foundation

Stone formed
deep in time

The Novoselivske Deposit belongs to the southwestern part of the Lower Proterozoic Kirovohrad granite complex.

The deposit was studied in several stages. Initial exploration took place in 1973–1974. In 1989–1991, it was further investigated and reassessed specifically as a source of granite blocks.

In 2022–2023, NIVEN carried out a geological appraisal of the deposit. The resulting reserves were reviewed and approved by the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Reserves under protocol No. 5619.

1989–1991Natural-stone potentialResearch focuses on the deposit’s suitability for granite block extraction.
2022–2023Modern appraisalFurther exploration updates the data and concludes with state approval of the reserves.

03 Stone character

One granite.
Different perspectives.

The crystalline rocks are predominantly medium- to coarse-grained, porphyritic garnet-biotite granites. Light crystals create rhythm, while dark inclusions give the pattern natural depth.

Natural stone may show acceptable variations in shade, grain and pattern. The characteristics of a specific block or consignment are agreed during ordering.

04 The deposit in detail

Modern technology.
Responsible extraction.

Granite block extraction at the Novoselivske Deposit is based on controlled separation from the formation, precise block shaping and specialised quarry machinery. Modern equipment helps preserve the integrity of the natural stone and use the raw material efficiently.

The deposit is developed in accordance with approved designs and current environmental requirements.
